Welcome to PalMove.
The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to PalMove.

PalMove provides man and van / removals services, including labour, transport, and related services booked online (the “Services”). Our website and booking system are powered by Shopify.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and Services. By visiting our website, requesting a quote, making a booking, or purchasing a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our Services.


SECTION 1 – ELIGIBILITY & ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

By using our Services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, and

  • All information you provide (contact details, addresses, access details, item descriptions, payment details) is accurate, complete, and truthful.

You are responsible for ensuring that all move details provided are correct. Incorrect or incomplete information may affect pricing, timing, or service delivery.


SECTION 2 – OUR SERVICES

PalMove provides time-based man and van services, not physical goods.

Service descriptions, availability, and pricing may change at any time. All services are subject to availability and confirmation.

Images or descriptions on our website are illustrative only and do not guarantee specific outcomes or timings.


SECTION 3 – BOOKINGS & ACCEPTANCE

When you place a booking or make payment, you are requesting a service.

  • A booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully completed.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where necessary (e.g. safety concerns, incorrect information, or lack of access).

If we cancel a confirmed booking, you will be notified and refunded where applicable.


SECTION 4 – PRICING & PAYMENT

  • Services are charged by time, with a minimum booking period as stated at checkout.

  • Prices shown are exclusive of additional charges such as parking fees, congestion charges, ULEZ, tolls, or building management fees, unless stated otherwise.

  • Payment is required online to secure a booking.

If a job exceeds the booked duration, additional time will be charged at the standard hourly rate.


SECTION 5 – CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

All cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling requests are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Please review that policy carefully before booking.


SECTION 6 – ACCESS, PARKING & CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to ensure:

  • Safe and legal parking is available where possible

  • Accurate disclosure of stairs, lifts, access restrictions, and item volume

  • Clear access to the property at the agreed time

PalMove is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by restricted access, parking enforcement, or third-party building rules.


SECTION 7 – DAMAGE & LIABILITY

We take reasonable care when handling belongings.

Any damage concerns must be reported on the day of the service or within 24 hours. Claims will be assessed fairly on a case-by-case basis.

We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Items not properly packed or unsuitable for transport

  • Delays outside our reasonable control


SECTION 8 – NO SHIPPING OR GOODS

PalMove does not sell or ship physical goods.

Any references to “shipping”, “delivery”, or “returns” on the platform relate solely to service bookings, not the delivery of products.


SECTION 9 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website, including text, logos, images, and branding, is owned by PalMove or licensed to us.

You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without prior written permission.


SECTION 10 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our website uses third-party services (including Shopify and payment providers). We are not responsible for third-party platforms or tools beyond our control.


SECTION 11 – SHOPIFY RELATIONSHIP

PalMove is powered by Shopify.
All bookings and services are provided directly by PalMove.

Shopify is not responsible for any service delivery, disputes, damages, or claims related to PalMove services.


SECTION 12 – PROHIBITED USE

You may not use our website or Services:

  • For unlawful purposes

  • To provide false or misleading information

  • To abuse, harass, or threaten staff

  • To interfere with the operation or security of the website

We reserve the right to refuse service where misuse occurs.


SECTION 13 – TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access to our Services at our discretion where these Terms are breached.

Outstanding charges remain payable.


SECTION 14 – DISCLAIMER

Services are provided “as is” and “as available”.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific timings, or outcomes beyond reasonable professional care.


SECTION 15 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, PalMove shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of our Services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
